/

Originating in China's Fujian province, White Tea boasts a legacy of craftsmanship spanning centuries. Crafted from young leaves and buds and plucked during early Spring when adorned with silvery-white hairs, White Tea's delicate appearance stems from these fine whiskers, which lend the tea its distinctive silver hue, a visual charm that sets it apart.

Light on the tongue, it gives a hint of sweetness accompanied by floral or light fruity notes; softly nuanced flavours that gently unfurl, offering a soothing and sensual tea-drinking experience.

Among its health benefits:

  • Rich in antioxidants and fights oxidative stress, reducing the risk of chronic ailments.
  • Maintains healthy blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, and minimises heart disease risk through its widely regarded antioxidant properties.
  • Ability to shield skin from UV radiation, promoting youthful skin.
  • Potential fat metabolism enhancement and inhibition of new fat cells.
  • Natural fluoride content and bacterial inhibition benefits oral hygiene.
  • Helps to promote gut health, supporting beneficial gut flora and aiding digestion.

Its gentle nature makes it ideal for Summer, as it helps to nourish the body without causing excessive dryness or heat. However, this tea can be enjoyed all year around and at anytime of day.

Can I combine it with other treatments?

Yes! But always consult a doctor as everyone has very individual and sometimes complex health issues. Chinese medicine often works hand in hand with Western medicine and complements the healing process.
